How we coach around pain
- Movement screen first: we look at how you move before loading anything.
- Modified exercises: we keep you training while avoiding what aggravates the problem.
- Progressive strengthening: of the muscles that protect your back, hips, knees and shoulders.
- Referral when needed: if something needs a clinician, we tell you.
We have a registered physiotherapist on our team. If you're dealing with an injury that needs hands-on care alongside your training, ask about physiotherapy at your free consultation.
One member with spondylitis lost 22 lbs in 4 months and no longer deals with daily back pain. Others came to us with knee pain, sciatica or old sports injuries and now train pain-free.

Frequently asked questions
Can I train with back pain or an old injury?
Usually, yes. Our programs are designed by a coach with a kinesiology degree, we have a registered physiotherapist on our team, and we screen how you move before your first workout. Exercises are modified around your injury so you can get stronger without aggravating it. If something needs medical attention, we will tell you and refer you.
I'm a complete beginner. Is this right for me?
Yes. Most of our members started with little or no gym experience, and many told us regular gyms intimidated them. Every workout is scaled to you, and your coach teaches every movement step by step. You will never be thrown into something you are not ready for.
How often do I need to train?
Most members train 2–3 times per week in 45-minute sessions. That is enough to see real results when it is paired with good nutrition, and it fits around work and family.
